The program aims to provide wider opportunities for young people from Indonesia and Australia to appreciate the culture, development and way of life of each other’s country.
Participants will be chosen from applicants undertaking tertiary studies or employed in any one or more of the following areas:
Agriculture, Arts, Music, Asian Studies, Economics, Business, International Relations, Education, Engineering, Science, Environmental Management, Journalism, Media, Information and Communications Technology, Law, Health, Politics, Sport, Tourism and Hospitality.
A good level of Indonesian language is desirable though not essential as the program makes allowances for some participants to learn the language during the period of the exchange.
The Indonesian exchangees are due to arrive in Australia in October 2010.

Last night I performed some stand up comedy upstairs at the Rhino Room. It was fun. It felt good getting back on the horse after being away for 6 months. It was my first time performing at the Rhino Room and I really enjoyed it. They have a great atmosphere there and are really supportive for new guys coming up.
